This is a short article that talks about street lights that use algae to generate light. I thought this would be a very interesting solution for light without electircity in Paul's Land Huspa area.

In the video it looked like you have to give them light and then they take C out of the air.

I am not sure, maybe it needs sunlight during the day. They did not talk either if it needs nutrients in the water.

This article mentions the need for nutrients. Has anyone tried this at home? Briefly searched for a commercial lamp or something but didn't find anything. Seems like a fun rabbit hole to pursue.
