Hello from Mississippi. I'm looking forward to reading about other's who garden and put up foods, they raise. Hubbie and I have been raising pigs for a few years too. Still trying to get the hams and bacon right.
Tonight we enjoyed smoked sausage with home grown onions and bell pepper for supper.

Welcome to permies Janet.

Dig in and explore the different forums here. Many subjects here are probably what you are already doing, and others may seem new (and strange?) to you. There is a lot of collective knowledge here, and you are bound to get some new ideas on what/how to do some things. Some of us are more/less experienced than others, but we all learn something new every day. The asking of questions, and the responding of answers is a big part of what makes this such a great site.

I hope that you enjoy the forums here...I know that I do...this is a great bunch of people.

Thanks John. I'm looking forward to reading the threads here.

Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn. But if you read my tiny ad, I might change my mind.
