Will hogs eats persimmons? I want to plant a grove of American Persimmons in a silvopasture system for the hogs I have. The persimmons will not be the only fruit as I will also be planting oaks, chestnuts, hazelnuts, apples, pears, and pecans.

They LOVE persimmons after they sweeten. They will map where all the persimmon trees are and make the rounds several times a day to eat the freshly dropped ones in season.
