Hello,

I am in the process of obtaining land for my homestead. It would be great to buy some land (5+ acres) in a region with plenty of rain and higher/warmer than Zone 9a/b. So I am looking for others on here who have land for sale or near them. Ideally land with water on it. I'm not in a rush yet and would consider outside the US, especially Australia.

Cool. I'm 38. I have the same dream of homesteading. I just bought 20 acres in the mountains off grid in Lassen County California in Moon Valley area. It has a cabin on it already which I think is so cool. But it's not legally built it's registered as a shed. I need to have a well drilled, septic system installed and a house built (which I would have a 400 square foot cabin) to legally have a residence there. I'm excited for it. Something to save for.

How much rain do you get up there? In Moon Valley? I have property in the San Luis Valley I want to sell, to cold for me there and no rain.

ice is for people that are not already cool. Chill with this tiny ad:
