What gear would you like to see reviewed?

I'm not sure if there is a desire out there, but figured I would ask.

What gear would you like to see reviews on from other Permies?

If you are not already familiar, the Permies Gear Review Grid contains an array of products that have been reviewed by Permies already. More can be added so folks can review if its wanted.

So... what would you like to see?

We just bought a wheeled rechargeable weed eater.  It was cheap.

I would like to see some brand name ones reviewed.

I think I remember that Black and Decker sells one.

Dash sells a counter top bundt cake machine that looked like fun. Though I am going to try the waffle iron first.

Anne's weed eater reminds me: there's this class of metal replacement heads to upgrade a string-trimmer -- I want to stop using plastic string but I'm not brave enough to get a scythe, so I'd love someone who knows these things that I'm talking about to review them and write about their pros and cons.

I'd like to see specifically things which replace disposable items... i.e., metal enforced hose to replace the ones which kink, no matter what color ( we have a red one and a black one -- both have kinks. There's discussion here about both colors being pro hoses which won't... mine do).

I have a vintage plastic grinder we were given. Just starting to use same. I do NOT have a Kitchen Aid, so I would like recommendations for specific grinders (vintage or new) because I imagine the plastic grinder won't last.

Having written this? NOT plastic items which replace plastic ones, apparently. I'm sure there are things out there I don't know about which would replace more things in my home that are part of the plastic nightmare.

Fruit pickers. Particularly, I would like to know why so many of them are secured by radiator hose clamps, not 3/4"-5 ACME threads that painter's extension poles use. I've found one picker that uses an extension pole, but I am not sure what the threads are. Or maybe it threads are a poor choice for fruit pickers for some reason?

EDIT: On further investigation, it looks like some fruit pickers have threads and hose clamps. Which makes sense. The hose clamps are there to keep the head from twisting off the threads.

Off-grid electrical power centers.  Using the Tesla Powerwall by way of explaining what I mean, there appears now to be many such power stations being offered for emergency or even daily off-grid power.  My interest would be ratings, reviews, and critique of the plug-n-play nature of such a station, whether it's meant to be portable or better off as a stationary unit, and how scalable the station is for capacity and peak power.  These factors as well as current cost of the system would be helpful for others to weigh when deciding on future power use and sources (solar, wind, hydro, etc.).  Thanks!

How about battery powered outdoor power equipment (Trimmers, chainsaws and the like) that belong to an existing power equipment lines.

Brands like DeWalt, Milwaukee, Makita, and many, many more, have Outdoor Power Equipment that fit their existing battery lines.

While I don't know if it works with regular string trimmers, that two wheeled weed eater also came with a saw blade attachment.  Yes, a regular saw blade.

I thought that was really scary ...

This video is showing how to use the replacement part though I feel it shows how a metal saw blade might be used instead of the replacement part.
