I would like to start off by saying I've been a lurker for years now! Sitting idly by watching, observing and absorbing all the goodness that everyone shares here. Now I throw my hat into the ring by submitting details of my mockup I have and want to get some feedback before I commit and finish it off (buff paint off, weld all seams, paint etc) and put it into use. I am planning on using the exhaust as supplemental heat for a future greenhouse but was wondering if I should make it course through a radiant heat source like a mass bench to draw more heat out the end air before it goes out. I have attached a drawing, not to scale, of my heater. I thank you all ahead of time.

Scotty : There is little to say, you appear to want to make up a wood burner that resembles a Rocket mass heater without insulation and out of metal
you can also look at a recent build by "David Rist", this all metal unit will probably last no more than one heating season, because of your location and
the limited amount of time it will be needed you may get two years, thicker metal will just warp before it burns out. In any case for a first time build I
would never recommend any system smaller than 6'' If I have misinterpreted your sketch in any way, please come back here and ask for help, with
over 19,000 fellow members, you will get help ! Big AL
