So I thought about this a while ago and decided that the time had come for the electric cooker to go. The grill had burnt out and so had a few rings and I hate using electric to cook food. For the last 12 months Ive just been using the hotplate on the woodburner anyway so why i have one of these horrible things is beyond me, it also makes the kitchen look ugly.
As you can see its an easy enough build and its really efficient, ive used it today for 3 or 4 hours and it burns clean as long as you dont overstock it, its great for getting rid of cardboard and other timber offcuts.
I did it as a joke but considering Ive had pretty much free hot water all day I guess the jokes on me.

You, sir, are a genius!

Plus, I have't laughed so much in the morning for many years. It almost made me miss Wales.

Brilliant!

Thanks for moving the bottle of gas, I was a little worried at the start.

Not as worried as I was when he put the blow-torch that close to his beard.

That's awesome!
Aside from the cool thing you end up with, I'm a big believer in the catharsis of bashing the shit out of things with big hammers,
and I've now added 'drilling the shit out of things' to the list
