how do i start?

last year i apprenticed on an organic veggie farm in maine. in about a month i am leaving to wwoof in germany for about 6 months. when i get back i want to keep farming but i am not sure how. i cannot afford land and working for small organic farms is not a great way to save money. my plan is to find land that i can use without buying. i want to live in a tiny home or camper on this land. is it possible to make enough money with something like this to be able to save? northern michigan is home and i would like to be there but there is a limited growing season. so if anyone has any advise on how or where to start i would love to hear your ideas. thank you!

Networking with permaculturists in the area where you want to farm might help you find landowners who would like to share their land in exchange for someone caring for it.

Patrickf -Are you looking for a paid position to farm of available land to farm?

Available land to farm would be most ideal but I'm not ruling anything out

Great site for land sharing. My only complaint is I'm "one of those" that doesn't use facebook.

Well I'm in Canada and I have a couple of very workable beautiful acres in the rockies that is not being used to it potential. I started working on the land slowly and my health has taken a side step. It will be more than a few years before I can be back out there and its so sad to see it just sit.
there is a livable structure that is pretty awesome a stream that runs through the place. I'm just starting to consider land share situation.
