Talking to a few nursery operators and they're all spending hours physically counting plants every week. Curious if anyone here running a nursery has found a better system, or if manual counting is just the reality of this business.

I don't have a nursery. I do have a garden, a few things in pots for their first year or two. I think physical counting is the only way to be certain of your inventory. No spreadsheet will be able to tell you that deer broke in and ate all your (insert valuable plant name here).
