I got myself a beavercraft carving kit (+ a palm chisel. Funny thing about that one, it had the word "Spicy" in the url link, so my friends and I call that one "Mr. Spicy" especially since it's the one that has gotten me the most so far) during my time in college. I started carving tiny ahkn beads outta sticks I find. Most of which were sycamore, which I know is not the smartest idea, given that wood retains a lot of water and is really hard. They're also not that good. The bars on them are not as long as I want.
My most recently carved things are this little pumpkin spoon (I wanna carve it a bit deeper, especially since I accidentally got paint in the dip of the spoon. Not that it'll ever be used for practical reasons) and this work-in-progress bird skull.

The thing that haunts the pumpkin patch.
