We are looking for you who are genuinely interested in learning about self-sufficiency and gaining hands-on experience of running a small farm sustainably, including crop cultivation, animal husbandry, forestry, handicrafts, and more. You need to be responsible, positive, and open-minded, enjoy physical work, and not be afraid to get your hands dirty.

For five years, we ran the one-year folk high school course Småbrukarlinjen—Self-Sufficiency and Sustainable Living—on the farm. We have also welcomed volunteers since 2012. This has given us extensive experience in teaching practical skills and inspiring others to lead more self-reliant lives.
As an apprentice, you will receive training, food, and accommodation in exchange for your work on the farm.
Does this sound like something for you? Please contact maria@allmogegarden.se and briefly tell us about yourself, or about yourselves, your interest in self-sufficiency, and why you would like to become apprentices at Allmogegården.
Kind regards,
Maria and Bengt, Allmogegården
