Has anybody used this plant?
Good King Henry (Blitum bonus-henricus) is a herbaceous perennial that has been used as a green vegetable for centuries.
It is native to many areas of central and southern Europe and has naturalised in other temperate regions.
Its leaves cook like spinach.
Its flowering shoots, cut at finger length in April, cook like asparagus — and April is the gap month, when last year's store is finished and this year's garden has nothing ready.
Its seed grinds like the quinoa of its close relatives.

Three vegetables. One plant. It grows on ground you have not improved, it comes back every year, and it will crop for a decade.
