Essential cordless tools for a homestead

I ended up with. 36v Makita.  It has turned into my go to saw.   Yesterday I cut up around fifty12 to 24 inch blocks of wood.  I am going to try to repeat that today and then spend tomorrow with the log splitter.  I have used my Stihl once or twice since I bought the Makita.   Frankly, if the Stihl needed to be replaced, I would probably think for about 10 seconds and buy a second Makita.

I like the idea that Makita is known for having reasonable quality and has a full line of tools.  My DeWalt collection is getting some age on it , and to no ones surprise, the chuck in my DeWalt drill went bad.  So, that has already been replaced with a Makita drill.

I had a side job putting wood flooring in a tiny house at a location that had no electricity. I just added this to my tools. It promises 1100 nails on a charge, didn't count the number but was able to use my flooring nailer for the entire job.
