I think, though I'm not certain, that Tel meant you couldn't put plexiglass on top of the topbars, that a window on the side would be OK.

yup. plexiglass on top temporarily is just fine. plexiglas windows work, but without some thoughtful design, they'll shed a lot of heat and doom a colony over winter.

Just signed up for Jacqueline's May 3rd "swarm" class. It runs from 11am-4pm, do you think I need to pack a lunch? ? Anybody out there take a class recently?

I would pack a lunch for a class that long. but I'm a hungry person. I might get up there for that one, though I'm scrambling to catch up with my own swarm preparations at the moment.
