my beans do not look or grow like beans at all so im starting to think that there was some seed in the compost idk but these dont look like any bean plant I ever grew before

If they are indeed peppers, might you have had compost seeds in your soil? Honestly if they're peppers, that's great! They are short lived perennials so you could keep them as house plants for up to 5 or 6 years. Even if you don't eat peppers, I would be surprised if you don't learn to love the red sweet ones!

I think spicy peppers are way better than the sweet peppers

Also I have grown peppers before (but I forgot this is what the seedlings looked like) and they all died to the same kind of bugs i hate bugs so much

Check out spider mites and whitefly

They are the enemy of many who try to grow plants indoors with living soil

The bugs go after the sap, and especially like new growth, but you may see them traveling up from the soil, or going back to lay more eggs

You can either try to start them in sterile soil or try to fight the bugs
There are probably some good discussions about this -- if I recall

Thai peppers from the store -- plant the seeds, or buy a pack past its prime and plant the soft ones whole...

I love Thai peppers -- they will grow in a bucket with holes in the sides along the bottom and can harvest 2 bursting ziplock baggies full out of one seed and one bucket!
And they're medium heat which is enough for me!

the whiteflies are on my sweet potato thingy too and I just wipe them off every day so i hope they like go extinct or something

For me it was an ongoing battle gently running my fingers over all new pepper growth, obsessively but that did work without having to use natural pesticides. I am hoping to get results from composting marigolds and see if putting that in the soil helps.

I've tried them but can't get them to overwinter here, although s gardener in Ottawa Ontario put together instructions on how to grow them there using black plastic to keep their feet warm, poking their heads through holes. But Ottawa gets 3 more weeks of growing season than I do, and I had to give up. German rooted parsley works though -- not quite the same, but some of the squash are close in taste to sweet potatoes too -- or that's what I tell myself. All mashed up together it's good, and I have learned to eat what grows!
