I think it's good that we think about our own actions and how they may seem to others. Like the way paul has looked at the ways to buy permies pie  - to both make it easier to find and buy, but not trap people into a subscription they didn't want. Personally I love a subscription - that way I can support permies without having to find a big sum. Others may want the multi-buy option to save money. Being clear up front makes everyone happier and avoids misunderstandings.
