This week Jan Dohner will be joining us to talk about all sorts of different kinds of livestock guardian animals.

There are four copies of her book, Livestock Guardians up for grabs.

Jan will be stopping by on the forum over the next few days answering questions and joining in discussions.

From now through this Friday, any posts in this forum, ie the predators forum, could be selected to win.

To win, you must use a name that follows our naming policy and you must have your email set up in Paul's Daily-ish email.

The winner will be notified by email and must respond within 24 hours.

Posts in this thread won't count, but please feel free to say hi to Jan and make her feel welcome!

Welcome, Jan! I am really excited to read the discussions that are coming. We have been considering livestock dogs for some time now, and I am thrilled to find a resource to help us with the process. I look forward to checking out your book!

So I ran the winner picker app in the forum software and we have 2 winners.

Am Ainsworth
and
Micky Ewing

Congratulations Micky and Am!

I sent you an email to ask for the email address of the person that first referred you to Permies.com. That person (if qualified) will also get a copy of the book and a permies care package.

Hi, Am Ainsworth and Micky Ewing how about you wrote a review of the book you received for us on permies, it would be great if you shared your impressions. Write a review starting with: I giv ethis book ... out of 10 acorns, where you will give the book a number from 0 to 10 out of 10 acorns as your impression on the book. To know more about the acorns scale visit the thread on it at this link:
acorns scale for books

you could post the review here, on the books presentation page:
