Post Error

Hi, see attached. I have a post spell checked ok by word with this error. How do I fix it?

I've had the same problem with abbreviations. Try tt or expand the abbreviation. Like Oak Ridge National Laboratory instead of ORNL.

The problem seems to be the "or 'u' in wall assemblies" portion. You can get around the filter by putting the 'u' in quotes.

Precisely. This restriction was put in place to discourage 'texting'.
We have many users here from around the world, who speak English as a second language, and quite often do not even use the same alphabet as we do. Texting, slang, acronyms, and other 'mis-use' of the language makes it difficult for them to fully benefit from this site. It discourages them from participating.

We are trying to make this site as friendly as possible for the international users.
Giving up some of our 'easy-speak' techniques is a good way to expand our international flavor.
