I bought "cheaters" for $2 and they fit well in my pocket. A few times a week I pull them out.

I finally needed prescription glasses to improve my far-away vision also. So I now have glasses that will help me with reading or with far away stuff. Everything that is about computer-far-away is fine - so I don't need glasses for that. So the idea is to keep them in the same pocket. Just pull them out when I'm not on the computer.

But they are huge. The don't fit in my pocket. Nowhere close. So I went looking for special frames. Nothing! Really? Am I the only person that wants glasses that will fit in my pocket?

I've been getting prescription glasses online for about 8 years now, mainly because I'm cheap (think $20-40 for line bifocals), but they do give you the exact size and weight of the frames and have a much larger selection than the local places.
If you're OK with it, I can post or message you with the website I use and am very pleased with.

We had the same idea. Jocelyn bought me some glasses from Zenni. It looked like they would fold up much smaller. It didn't.

Way ahead of me...same place I use. You must want something like these -

I wonder if you could have the lenses changed in them...

Those would be okay.

These are even better:

And nothing Japanese sized will fit you, Paul.

I also have what one may call a melon head, and the choices for glasses is slim. Zenni goes from a gazillion frames down to about 30 when I type in my size. And I hate all of them.

These probably won't fit, either. But proves we used to be smarter about these things

I do US civil war artillery and have a pair of original 1860's frames that I wear. They are small, but were worn that way back then. Perhaps these slightly newer time period reproductions would work?
