#1 looks like lambs ears (Stachys byzantina).

1st plant Stachys byzantina (lamb's ears)
2nd plant Hieracium (hawkweed), there are several similar looking species

Thanks Mike! I had thought maybe False Dandelion, but wasn't sure.
