Last fall I pruned my my black currants shrub tried planting some cutting. I had to much so I put some in a mulch pile with some cardboard on top, 8 month later some currants grew out off the cardboard very vigirously more then 2 feets !!!

I am envious!

Works at a residential alternative high school in the Himalayas SECMOL.org . "Back home" is Cape Cod, E Coast USA.

me, too. My three black currant bushes are just kinda sitting there, looking small and unvigorous.
