I like Raintree Nurseries and Edible Landscaping. Both great companies, but I'm wondering if there are any others that are consistently good sources and have some of the less common trees?

They are pricey, but I've had good luck with One Green World when it comes to less common trees. The highest quality pawpaws I've ever received through the mail were from them. For more common trees, Van Well Nursery is great if you are ordering 50+ trees while Adams County Nursery is good for 25+ tree orders.

I've ordered from Oikos and will again. They have a good selection of unusual plants. I just wish they sold bigger plants. They are healthy plants though. I will check out the other suggestions. Thanks!

I really love one green world. Starkbros are also really really good. Raintree is up there on mu list and edible landscaping is nice too (the plants are alot smaller, potted but they do survive and flourish in a year or two)

I ordered pomegranate trees from Rolling River Nursery. They were very helpful over the phone. Then when I received my trees, they looked really good. Also the trees came in soil. They came in long slender pots. At first I was not impressed, but soon realized the shape of the pots caused the trees to produce deeper roots. They grew more than other pomegranate trees from other companies because they have deeper roots. I have sandy loam soil which can dry out quickly.
