- Recently I saw quoted a performance figure for a biogas generator(s) run only with the 'night soil' of a family of 5. Total production of biogas was 25 kilos / 55 lbs.
Yearly ! This figure is approximately 1/8th to 1/10th of the typical Amount of Gas by volume of propane ( which is MORE
energy dense ) for a typical American family
of 4 !
Also when using animal manure the 'payback period' is much Extended as compared to a Biogas generator started on Manure and switched over to household
garbage as the sole
feed stock!

increase
solar gain without producing an overgrowth of Algae A.L.
