Hello All,
I just joined this forum. I live in Maine and would love to meet others interested in
permaculture. Would you believe I was actually not familiar with the term
permaculture until very recently, but have been practicing it just the same for the past few years! I was excitd when I stumbled across it. I am a wanna-be homesteader and very passionate about my lifestyle. I live on 40 or so acres and do all I can to live off the
land! I just turned 30 this Spring (yikes). I enjoy primitive skills and keep learning in any way I can. I just took a
beekeeping and foraging
class this Spring--good way to celebrate my b-day, He He. I have my garden and did canning this year. I got most of my canning supplies second hand. I like the recycling concept. I am currently knitting a sweater....planning on taking a sewing course right off. I try to buy as much
local, or even better--do it myself! I am into natural health and organic lifestyle. K, so I am sure you lovely folks on here can relate to my interests. That is the neat thing, as most folks now are too modern to appreciate the desire to live off the land. The growing season was great here this year. How was everyone else's bounty?
