course, it won't affect any currently installed stoves. Manufacturers have had a couple of years notice to develop new models and get rid of old stock. An unfortunate consequence of this is that small manufacturers may not have the resources to develop and test new models fast
enough. Keeping the discussion on rocket stoves, maybe this will push some group to invest in a
RMH testing protocol so they can be verified by the government and standards can be written, letting permitting happen in an orderly fashion. You can't blame
local building departments too much for not going out on a limb with something they don't know about.
