HELP - need to identify house plant

I'm trying desperately to identify this plant received for my mother's memorial a few weeks ago. It kind of looks Iike a hart's tongue fern, but it is so dark and vertical. But it has the ruffled edges. I am trying to identify so I can know how to care for it properly. I figure it has to be something relatively common since it was sold through a local florist in southwest Mississippi.

It could be a bird's nest anthurium or a a species of philodendron that grows upright.

Beautiful plant! It does look like a birds nest fern.

I agree, definitely bird's nest anthurium (Anthurium plowmanii).
