and he mentions three companion plantings of enormous utility to folks raising food. I thought I'd dupe the info here in hopes of eliciting more examples of companion planting with fungi.
King Stropharia (Stropharia rugosoannulata) pairs well with sweet corn;
Elm Oyster (Hypsizygus ulmarius) improves the growth of all Brassicas;
Nameko (Pholiota microspora) anecdotally boosts the health of grape plantings (Peter: if you see this, have you confirmed this or found more evidence?).
