Living in Florida and watching the news I am concerned zika will pave the way to more poisons applied to the environment... We are toxic enough here... How about the tourist go away. And the complainers can go home also...

From webmd: If you plan to travel in affected areas, avoid mosquito bites by using mosquito repellent throughout the day. Also, wear long-sleeved shirts and long pants, both indoors and out. People who have traveled to affected regions need to be extremely vigilant against mosquito bites when they return home, especially during the first 10 days.

Infectious disease experts are watching Puerto Rico closely, because it’s a major tourist destination that’s closely connected to the mainland. There are more than 100 daily direct flights between the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Nearly 40 cruise ships, each carrying thousands of passengers, pass through the Port of San Juan each week. And according to the government-run Puerto Rico Tourism Company, about 90% of people who fill the hotels on the island are Americans.
