American silverberry

I'm thinking about planting silverberry in a hedge with chinkapin chestnuts and spicebush. Has anyone grown silverberry? It doesn't sound as invasive as autumn olive? Is it sweet enough to eat off the bush when fully ripe?
Where is a good place to order them?
