Very good site there. I wish Emily had spent less time on I -I- I- I and accomplishments and more on varying conditions and how the cooler worked under the differing conditions.

Em is amazing though. Way to go!

Seems see invented a zeer pot.  People have been making these for quite a long time.  The metal version would be lighter but seems like the traditional version serves the concept of low energy use better.

I've seen many versions of evaporative coolers just thought it was an interesting durable one.

should be done with savaged material as nice shiny metal containers are expensive. i thought it was going to be a cooling mech like in a propane fridge with a fresnel lens pointing at the evaporator instead of using propane or natural gas. this gets me thinking ... now to find a chest type freezer that runs on propane. if i shift the evap coil to the outside and shaded with a fresnel in place of the propane flame .. annother frankenstein monster is born
