Bay Area Camp Seeking Long Term Caretaker and 9 month Host

McCormick Creek Camp & Gardens was the workshop site for Sepp Holzer's first visit to California back in 2013.

We are located in a remote area of the San Francisco Bay Area, a rural spot rich in history and interesting people.

We've grown a lot in recent years, had our share of short term helpers, and are looking for some longer term people to support the very active, low-impact campground and the growing foundations of a small permaculture farm.

The caretaker would assist the property manager for 15 hours/week with infrastructure maintenance and improvements.

The campground host works most weekends, April-October.
