an urban garden inside of a working farm

I often think about my what I would do if I were still living in a city with much less space.  We took about 1/8 acre, behind a cottage and did exactly that.  I wanted all of my favorite things: herb spiral, hugle, big keyhole bed with a path from an adjoining bed, permanent beds on contour and a small reclaimed brick patio for kicking back & taking it all in.  I will post pics once the weather allows us to plant, but the bones are done. This will have medicinals, fruit and crops.  I'm pretty stoked about this and we will have a waffle fence woven through the fence posts.  The cottage has a grey water system with a catchment/filter pond just above the garden.

Looks good! I'm totally into gardening, like big time. More so for growing my own food, not so much growing ornamentals. I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures you post as the year progresses
