Exotic Fruit Farm for rent

Are you into living independently and with very little luxury?

Do you want to give it a shot and see if it works out without investing too much?

Then I have the perfect offer for you.

I offer a 9 hectares (22.2 acres) farm with a lot of producing fruit trees and forest around in a remote area.

There are two springs on the property and there‘s a rustic ranch (which can be improved by you).
There‘s loads of 7-years-old bamboo guadua – the right one for construction works.
All the farm has been managed organically during the last 12 years.

Fruit trees on the property:

21 Jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus) – about 8 producing
50 Borojó (Alibertia patinoi) – about 20 producing
260 Cacao trees – about 65 old trees producing
30 Biribá Anonas (Rollinia deliciosa) - producing
2 Nuez pilí (Canarium ovatum)
6 Lansio (Lansium)
4 Marang (Artocarpus odoratissimus) at least 2 producing
100 vanilla plants
6 Canela (Cinnamomum verum)
7 Abiu (Pouteria caimito) at least 3 producing
17 Salak (Salacca zalacca) at least 5 producing
7 Safu (Dacryodes edulis) at least 3 producing
10 Caimito (Chrysophyllum cainito)
4 Mango intensivo (n.a.)at least 2 producing
12 Durian (Durio)
3 Cacao Macambo (Theobroma bicolor) – one producing
4 Mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana)
4 Mamey (Mammea americana)
25 Pejibaye (Bactris gasipaes) at least 2 producing – all suitable for palm heart
3 Akee (Blighia sapida)
6 Chempedak (Artocarpus integer) one producing
4 Zapote (n.a.) at least one producing
Others: Olosapo, Níspero, Noni, Tamarindo, Olivo de Ceylan, Longan, uva de árbol etc.
Bananas so that you and your friends can eat almost every day.

You see, there’s a lot of potential for you: sell the fruit, seeds and the bamboo.
You can even try and live self sufficient. If you plant additional crops like camote, yuca, tiquisque or maíz that should be possible.

Conditions:
- You need to keep on working organically.
- Minimum rent is 2 years.
- monthly rent is 450 US$
- A two to three days training is included, so that you get to know the fruit trees and the pest control techniques. And I’ll show you all my tricks, including how to work with a machete and how to plant trees correctly and much more.
- No “overharvesting” of trees or bamboo.
- We would get an official contract from a costarican lawyer for our both safety.

Farm is located in the north of Costa Rica between Bijagua and Canalete with nice views of the Nicaragua lake. Rio Celeste (the bluish river on one pic) is nearby.

What will the purchase price be?  Is there any possibility of 1 week vacation rentals?  2 years is a long time to see if one feels a fit to the property.
