Hi everyone,

I'm Tom, 25yo Australian and travelling while picking up permaculture knowledge is my game! Yes there is so much info on the internet but I only learn hands on. And it great to see all of the beautiful places and their beautiful inhabitants

I will traveling America from mid 2011 with the sole purpose of learning what I can, as I want to start my own permaculture farm by 2013.

Of course I will be using wwoofing and helpx but from my experiences in europe the best farms/ communes I found were outside of these networks.

My skills, umm  I have a strong back and am quick to smile. I like to try to cook. I love animals ( yes including people). I've always been on the move so I adapt quickly.

So if your looking for a hand and can pass on some knowledge on send me a message

But is there any non-profitable web site to get contact with organic farms?

there are lots of organic farms and other land based places on both helpx and workaway.com and they're both very cheap to join - cheaper than wwoof as you need to often pay per country

I am accepting apprentices on my small farm in upstate New York - one half mile from Lake Ontario.  It is permaculture based, lots to be learned here.  For more details, message me.
