It looks like a pine tree.
They are in a good memory of mine.
As young boy I planted about 250 seeds as I was 8 years old and 7 years later I was selling them on the main street as Christmas
trees,
expecting a great show off in the Discotheque with the money I made.
The Police stopped, took me in their car and called the neighbor of my parents, because he had the only telephone in the village.
(It was the time where mobile phones were not even invented)
My father came, gave me a good slap, shouted what I had done and how embarrassed he was picking me up at the
local Police office after they called the neighbor.
I told him I was selling the Christmas Trees I grew in my backyard garden and the police said I have stolen them out of the near forest.
As I returned to the street where I had set up my shop (a sign with price) about half of them were stolen.
My father went all the way to the court and the judge weeks later decided the store price per meter of tree is just fair for my losses.
I remember I wanted to
sell them for 2 German Marks and the store price was about 8 German Marks per tree.
My father was a seaman and quite tough so he claimed I had 500 trees planted and showed one photo of my mother and myself where half of the planting area was visible.
The day the brand new 50cc Motorbike (who remembers Zuendapp GTS 50) came, I went to the Discotheque and had a great show off in front of our "village beauties" plus a wallet full cash to treat them with a drink or two....
