I thought the hive had to be located such that everything is organic within 5 miles. But it is possible that that has changed a bit. I know that organic honey used to be terribly expensive. And the few organic producers were located near large wilderness areas.
And then ... I think the whole country of iceland is organic. So I suppose any honey from there would be organic.
I guess it shows us that some introduced species aren't harmful but prove to be beneficial after all. Of course they may have pushed out other species but they are crucial to agriculture.
