well we are about 75 days from our first hard frost in Michigan (although they say we
should have warmer than normal Aug,Sept, Oct so maybe longer ..last year 10/3)
Now is the time to be putting in annual seeds for a fall crop if you are in our area, zone 4/5 Michigan, allowing 2 1/2 months to maturity.
I was wondering how many people plant a fall crop in the north and what they plant, I intend to be going out before the rainy spell that is due the end of the week, and pulling gone by plants and putting in seeds of fall crops this week. I also plant greens and salad crops in my
greenhouse this time of year that will provide me with greens products well into the winter, last year I picked some form of green all winter long.
