and after all the reading and research and rabbit-holing, I figured I might as well join the fun forum! A little about, Im fairly new to the PNW. What brought me out west, besides all the "big" reasons like soul searching, spiritual journey-ing, or you know...generational trauma, was the Workaway platform. Long story short, I took assignments that gradually steered me NW over a year/two year period. Eventually I landed in Southern OR and got on a fire crew for a season.

Im currently living in Eugene but city life is weighing me down and society needs a diaper change, it stinks out here. I'd love to get back out into REAL world and reset my system. Maybe foster a meaningful relationship or friendship, maybe just hear and tell some life stories. Whatever is needed, Im pretty amenable with most, 'cept bullies and braggarts. Bastards and broken things are A-Ok though.

Ive been lots of places and Ive seen lots of things but this place is pretty unique and I appreciate the overall charm of the community. Yall are a pretty neat.

not sure about these pics, i had to be janky gettin em on here yall already know

Great.
"Don't stop believin'

Don't stop believin'

is now stuck in my head! I am fascinated that so many permies live in the Northwest. I'm in what is called the Midwest, but actually just East of the Mississippi (I totally couldn't spell this. M-I-crooked letter, crooked letter- I....) and North of the Ohio. Love me some rivers and lakes. Welcome!

Those are extremely rad trousers you are wearing while you are looking down at the ax.  And that little pig you are nuzzling is so very cute.  Welcome to permies.

Those are actually not just trousers but full cold weather bibs, so its a one piece outfit I guess. and gosh darn they are warm and toasty.
