I was thinking of planting a few of these in my front yard to help shade the house from direct west sun and maybe put a few fruit bushes around them.
but when I was looking them up I found they are considered a invasive and will not allow anything to grow around them is this true? or could you make a guild with them.
I picked that tree because I know it grows rapidly and I would see shade on the house soon:>)

There is a lot of concern about them being invasive here in Florida, I have not studied them well enough to have an opinion. They do produce lots of nectar for honey, could be a minor source of wax, and have some medical value, though they also spread rapidly.
