Artistic knitting – Sam Barsky and his postcard sweaters

Baltimore resident Sam learned to knit when he was 24 after seeking a new direction in life. “I have a learning disability and also a neurological disorder that makes me tired and weak at times. In 1999 it forced me to leave nursing school – at first I didn’t know what I was going to do.”

Loads more amazing pictures at the link at top. (Plus, I reduced the width of these pics so the page would load faster.)

Or see Sam's Facebook page:  https://www.facebook.com/colorknit/

Wowsers!

I forgot about this guy! Read about him a while ago, he is SO talented (and seems to have a great sense of humor).

It would seem he has discovered the artist within and what an innovative direction he has taken.

I love sweaters they are far more useful than coats when working or playing outdoors, I used to have something close to 50 that my mother knitted for me.

Wow! It's so clean! Did you do this tiny ad?
