This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the straw badge in woodland care.

This BB is all about growing stinging nettles

(source)

The requirements for this BB are to do the following:
     o plant 100 nettles
o show that at least 20 have sprouted
o plant in a row, twelve inches apart
o quick video over row showing that at least 20 have germinated

To get certified for this BB, post the following:
o quick video over row showing that at least 20 have germinated

I'd like to do this BB as part of planting my garden this spring, but I'm starting seeds indoors. Would it be permissible to do this as indoor starts, showing them having sprouted in their little pots, rather than in a row outdoors?
