I completed this BB at the PTJ event. Creating cob is so much fun! Adobe bricks felt like mud pie play for grown ups.

Made adobe bricks at the PTJ event. I also helped make a frame for "half size" adobe bricks with Jim -maybe that's an oddball BB?

I completed this BB at the SKIP 2023 event. I used the same adobe brick form used for all other bricks created here, which is the standard size of 12" x 6" x 3".

I'm attaching these pics:

 - my mix and tools
 - Action shot of me flipping over my mix before resuming my adobe-mix-dance
 - Bricks drying on edge

Thanks!

Here’s my first round of cob bricks. Going to try a few different mixes; build a kiln, fire all the mixes & see what ends up most durable.

First round started pretty sloppy so I did a few extras so I’d at least have 12 good ones.

This is all in preparation to have our first RMH finished before winter.
