King me!  I know it's not checkers, but I got a whole badge!  After having a bit of a dry spell and some BB's I had to go back and redo, this is a good mood lifter.  A drink to all the volunteers who make SKIP happen!

What they said!  I hereby submit for my Textile Sand Badge.  Yay!!!

Quick Darning
Sew a Patch
Sew a Small Pillow
Weave Twine
Weave a Basket
Knit Crochet Hotpad

I was pleasantly surprised by the darning...loved it!
Making the twine was difficult, at first, but got easier.  I'm pleased with how the cordage turned out.
Was also pleasantly surprised by the basket...harder than it looks!
