This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the straw badge in Natural Building.

For this BB, you will making an adobe brick and cob bench!

(source: Appropedia)

Minimum Requirements:
      - Must be comfortable sitting height or include foot rest
      - Must have backrest
      - 2 butts wide minimum
      - Roof not required, but helpful (makes for a larger project)
      - Plasters not required, though nice sitting surface is.

To document completion of the BB, provide proof of the following:
     - making the adobe bricks or mixing the cob
     - partway through the build
     - finished adobe brick or cob bench that meets the above requirements

Updated link for the 4th and F St. Cob Bench On Appropedia.com

It describes the whole process from materials, foundation, mixing, laying, plastering and finishing with lots of pictures.

As if that wasn't enough, a dog then peed on the tiny ad.
