Spindles for Ten Feet of Railing - metalworking.wood.spindles PEP BB

This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the wood badge in Metal Working.

For this BB, you will be making decorative and functional spindles for 10’ of railing)!  The railing isn't part of this BB but feel free to make it from metal as well.

This BB has a point range from 6 to 18 points.
 - minimum points for beautiful work
 - maximum points for highly professional and awesome work you'd find on a castle
 - work between beautiful and awesome will be awarded something in between

Minimum requirements:
 - Sturdy enough spindles that they meet code for your jurisdiction (and/or are sturdy enough for roughhousing 12 year olds)
 - Tight enough to prevent passage of a 4" ball
 - Starting with raw steel/iron

 - The supplies you're starting with
 - Partway through the build
 - The finished decorative and functional spindles for 10' of railing
