Slaughter and Clean a Guinea Pig - PEP BB animal.sand.guineapig

This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum. Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in Animal Care.

Guinea pigs are small rodents that you can raise and eat!

It's important to learn not just how to properly harvest a guinea pig, but why it matters.

There is a heap of good information about how to maximize nutrition, minimize cruelty, and increase efficiency in the process. Here is some useful information:

For this BB, the minimum requirements are:
-Start with 1 Live Guinea Pig
-Killed in a humane manner
-Processed and either prepared or properly stored within an hour

To document your completion, provide proof of the following as pics or video (less than two minutes):
-Living Guinea Pig
-Guinea Pig after slaughter, depicting the method used
-Organs separated into suitable for human consumption / not suitable for humans consumption, next to guinea pig fur

I think the way she breaks the neck - by twisting the pig with both hands - requires quite a lot of strength in arms? Maybe it only looks like this in the video, but I don't know if I'd be physically able to do it this way. She looks strong!
Also, guinea pigs are not officially recognized as farm animals here, so it probably wouldn't be legal to use them as food. I know of someone who wanted to change that, but faced a lot of hate from pet lovers.
