This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the straw badge in Dimensional Lumber Woodworking.

Raw wood is pretty but it doesn't resist dirt and water all that well.  What did they do in the olden days?  One option comes from bees.  Let's make some beeswax wood finish!

Here's one way to do it:

Mike's note:  A teacher suggested to me that apple cider vinegar, salt, walnut oil and beeswax mixed together hot and applied hot was his favorite recipe.

Minimum requirements:
  - Make a cup of beeswax finish
  - Use only natural ingredients (beeswax, vinegar, oil, etc)

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
  - The ingredients you're going to use
  - Melting the beeswax
  - Finished beeswax finish
  - A piece of wood treated with the finish
