This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in Traditional Skills.

When it's time to cook a bit of meat, it's annoying to have to wait for lightning to start a fire for you.  Let's gain experience with using flint and steel to start a fire!

Here's some great info:

Minimum requirements:
  - Make a fire using flint and steel
       - Not a ferro rod, must use actual flint
 - This bb can only use materials that existed 200 years ago

Provide proof of the following as video (<2 min):
  - Your flint and steel
  - Making sparks and catching them
  - Igniting tinder

I agree. Here's the link: http://stoves2.com
