This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the Straw badge in Traditional Skills.

They didn't have plastic hundreds of years ago but they did have materials that could hold their shape like plastic.  Let's make a powder horn from a cow horn!

Here's one way to do it:

Minimum requirements:
  - Make a powder horn from cow horn
  - Smooth and polished
  - Including mounting attachment points and a strap
        - You don't need to make the strap
  - This bb can only use materials that existed 200 years ago

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
  - The horn you're starting with
  - The powder horn midway through construction
  - The finished powder horn with strap attached
  - Show the small plug removed and some sort of powder pouring out of the powder horn
