Hunting bigger critters like deer is easier if you can fling an arrow at them instead of just chucking rocks.  Let's try to build an archery bow!  

 
 

Here's one way to do it:


Minimum requirements:
  - Make a bow from wood
  - Sized for you
  - String can be purchased or there's a BB to make one
  - This bb can only use materials that existed 200 years ago

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
  - The blank of wood you're starting with
  - Several points during the shaping process
  - Your tillering set-up
  - The bow in the tillering rig at full draw
  - Short video of you successfully shooting an arrow with the bow
        - Please consider wearing safety glasses
 
when your children are suffering from your punishment, tell them it will help them write good poetry when they are older. Like this tiny ad:
